First of all, I'd like to welcome you all to our humble project. It started out of nothing more than a desire to get more Showa Kamen Rider series subbed. Originally, we had only intended to do the first episodes of Kamen Rider X, Skyrider, and Super-1. But eventually, and mostly due to the demand of our friends on 4chan's /m/ board, we decided to try our hands at more episodes. Please read on for more, and more importantly, episode links!
Before I continue, please understand our situation; We are a small group. All translation and timing is done by one person, and QC, encoding, and release updates by another. And for the translator, that is A LOT of work; especially considering that english is not his first language. Which makes the translation process even more difficult for him. We are always looking for more help. Especially translators, timers, encoders, and uploaders! Please get in touch with us here, or on the /m/subs forums. Help us get more exposure to these amazing, and classic, Kamen Rider series!

ReplyDeleteAs I mentioned, right now we're a very small group. With only one dedicated translator taking on this entire workload by himself, I have to stress that we're taking this one step at a time. For now, expect occasional updates to both Skyrider and Super-1.

ReplyDeleteHello, the translator here. Just to clarify, probably for the next 2 week we will try to alternate between Super-1 and Skyrider. However, eventually I will just focus to Skyrider, because by then I probably will have other important RL matters to focus.
ReplyDeleteI would love to get a second, dedicated translator for Super-1. Seeing as my job is simply to qc, grammar check, and "punch up" the script, it really could just be a quick and dirty translation, and I'll fix it up. I'd even be willing to time it. If anyone's interested, let us now. The more Showa we chip away at, the better. Every little bit counts!

ReplyDeleteYou guys ever make mirrors of the episodes that you submit? Megaupload has its point to where it stops downloading in the middle of the process, which is a pain.

I can't think of anyplace to mirror the episodes that doesn't give me problems at one point or another. I'd suggest getting jdownloader. It really is the best thing ever for direct downloads.

Also I really wish I could help because this is a lot of hard work. and I'm sure it takes a lot of your time to do just an episode.
